Because of constraining the government’s prosecution of corruption on Wednesday evening throughout Romania in the streets gathered from 200,000 to 300,000 protesters demanded resignation of the government. One minister has already resigned.
The Romanian public is upset by the decree of the Government, which gives politicians chance to avoid prosecution. Social government of Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu accepted it on Tuesday, entered into force immediately. In accordance with the decree of the abuse of office prosecuted only if the damage is thereby generated, equivalent to at least 200,000 Romanian lev (about 44,000 euros). The government, which is at the position from the beginning of January, the decree accepted despite protests that are against planned changes.
