Strawberry Balsamic Avocado Toast
This is one unexpected combination. But the truth is that strawberries and avocados go together very well! It creates a sweet and tangy snack you never thought you needed.
All you need are:
- 1 small ripe avocado (or half a large ripe avocado)
- 1 slice of bread
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- Drizzle of balsamic vinegar
- Pinch of salt & pepper
Start by toasting the bread. Simultaneously, start mashing the avocado. Once there is a smooth paste add a pinch of salt & pepper to the mixture and mix well. If your bread is now toasted, spread the mashed avocado over the toast. On top of the toast, add sliced strawberries and then drizzle over balsamic vinegar to give it a tangy kick.
