There are countless other options outside scrambled eggs, such as over-easy, poached, and soft-boiled. Unfortunately, you might have forgotten the starting point of the list by the time the server has finished. Not to mention that you don’t know what half of those egg-cooking methods entail. More than 101 methods exist for cooking eggs. Each approach is distinct from the others. While a few of these techniques can be executed by anybody, some necessitate knowledge, expertise, and even unique tools.
Top of the list is scrambled eggs. Egg yolk and white mixtures are fried to make this delicacy. Scrambled eggs are still simple enough to make, even for a novice home cook, despite being a little trickier than boiled eggs. Although hard scrambled eggs are commonly known to most people, Gordon Ramsay invented the creamy variety. Your egg white and yoke are cooked in butter over low heat. Once it has firmed up, whisk in your milk or sour cream before serving it for consumption.
Eggs can be cooked in various ways, but hard-boiling them for a long time is perhaps the simplest. The term “hard” merely denotes the absence of any runny yolk and the fact that the eggs are fully cooked. The egg is boiled and cooked for at least five minutes. As a result, the yolk and whites of the eggs will be firm. You can make the soft-boiled egg by placing it in boiling water and cooking it for a shorter time using the same boiling technique. We also have sunny-side-up eggs, prepared by cooking the egg only on one side over a hot oil pan. The heat from below has somewhat fried the opposite side. The yolks, however, are still in their liquid state.
