Dunkaroos Frosting Is Coming to Stores Soon

Boy, do we have the perfect thing for those of you who can never get enough frosting. Introducing Dunkaroos frosting, available starting in March for a limited time! You know them, you love them: Dunkaroos, the snack that combines cookies with frosting. It’s honestly pure genius. But, if we’re being honest, most of us are just scooping out the frosting with our hands and forgetting about the average-tasting cookies. Thankfully, Betty Crocker’s new lineup is delivering the goods. The brand itself posted on Instagram that standalone Dunkaroos frosting will soon be out in stores. Specifically, it looks like Betty Crocker plans to offer cans of Dunkaroos’ vanilla frosting, with a bounty of rainbow sprinkles that add extra bursts of sweetness and fun. The frosting comes in massive 16-ounce cans, which is quite a bit more than the roughly one cubic inch of frosting you’d find in an individual snack pack of Dunkaroos.

Now, the frosting’s possibilities are endless! Whereas Dunkaroos frosting was once primarily used for dipping tiny cookies, you could now use this can of vanilla frosting to dip normal-sized cookies, make a Dunkaroos cake without making your own frosting from scratch, or pretty much create anything else this nostalgic snack may inspire. Given that we’ve already seen Dunkaroos beer and cereal, the sky really is the limit.

Though Dunkaroos frosting may be the star of the show, it’s far from the only worthy treat shown off this week in Betty Crocker’s new seasonal lineup. In addition to a range of springtime cookies (including a Hershey’s blossom cookie kit), a Reese’s Pieces Surprise Cupcake Kit will surely blow some minds this Easter. There’s also vanilla-flavored Dunkaroos frosting hitting stores in March, but it’ll only be around for a limited time.
