Apr 30, 2022 ByClaire Miles

The celebration of Ramadan on the ninth month of the Islamic year is represented by fasting and self-reflection. The holy month of Ramadan is one of the most critical months for Muslims. A time of worshipping, renewal of connection with Allah, and acts of good deeds. During this entire month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day, and they break their fast during the evening call to prayer, with meals they refer to as Iftar. During Ramadan, the fast-breaking is one of the most critical parts of the day, observing Muslims stay away from food and water until sunset.

Iftar is the main meal of the fasting day; worshippers initially break the fast with a bit of snack followed by evening prayers and then return to eat a larger meal. The ultimate iftar snack is the Chicken Samosa while heading to a store and getting it is available. A homemade Chicken samosa takes under 40minutes to prepare, and decide on whatever you want as your filling.

Another perfect iftar meal is the chicken biryani, an ideal rice dish famous worldwide. Its blend of meat, rice, and spices leaves you feeling satisfied. It is the best meal for Iftar, be it for family or served for one. While most dishes are too complicated or time-consuming, opting for soups or stew is highly recommended. The Lamb stew is an Arabian comforting stew made with tomatoes, peppers, vegetables, and aromatic spices.

For easy-to-go iftar snacks, a top recommendation will be fried potatoes. It might sound basic, but the secret is to have cumin and coriander powder in the ingredients to give it the new life needed. Another favorite and easily accessible will be chicken nuggets, which can be served around the home. They can be stored in the freezer and never fails to be satisfying. After breaking fast while waiting for other serious meals, an easy-to-make snack will be noodles, which could be made in whatever form in tune with individual preference.
