Halloween Christmas Trees Are Now A Thing

Jul 26, 2020 ByAndrew Parker

Actual question: is it ever too early to start getting ready for Halloween? In our expert opinions, no. Clearly, the rest of the world is in agreement! Many of us are waiting for summer to be over and get right to October for Halloween! Between the cozy sweater weather, scary-movie marathons, and too-much delicious candy, what’s not to love? That means we can start preparing now. And recently a trend that’s popped up that is gaining serious moment is Halloween trees. People have started to up their Halloween-decoration game by creating Halloween trees that are cool and creepy all at the same time. Similar to a Christmas tree, a Halloween tree features things like cobwebs, bats, and fake blood instead of garland, twinkle lights, and a star on top. People go all out for Christmas, so why not do the same for Halloween?

People are really getting into the Halloween spirit! There are over 27,000 posts on Instagram with the hashtag #halloweentree, and the lengths people go to are amazing. Target has also been getting into the Halloween spirit early this year.ย The retailer recently brought back its Hyde & EEK! Boutique giving us all a first look into whatโ€™s in store for this yearโ€™s decor collection. Last yearโ€™s popular items included skull pineapples and they will definitely be returning (score!). New decorations will include different colorful succulents, a bowling set with mummy pins, and a bewitching light-up beverage dispenser. The collection will be available in mid-August but the preorder is already available. You can feel free to browse through some of the items.
