Indoor Sports to Practice at Home
Being at home does not mean you cannot play any sports. Indoor sports/games are suitable for almost everyone and can be enjoyed in the comfort of home. Some indoor sports require physical activity, while some can be played seated. Here is a list of sports that you can easily do indoors.
Table Tennis. You can use any table or bench in the house for table tennis. Divide the table in the middle with a net and play with other family members in your spare time. The objective of a tennis game is to hit the ball past your opponent’s court. If you do not have a partner, play wall table tennis by hitting the wall back and forth. Ping-pong is another popular game similar to table tennis. Two players take turns striking a ping-pong ball back and forth across a table. Ping pong aims to keep the ball in play by hitting it with a paddle.
Basketball is a sport that requires a lot of coordination and balance. You need good hand-eye coordination, quick reflexes, and great footwork. It would help if you tried playing with friends and families to improve your basketball skills. Playing basketball indoors is a great way to get in shape while still having fun. Indoor volleyball is a great sport for people who want to stay fit and active. Volleyball is a game where two teams of three players each compete against each other using a ball and net. Players use their bodies to hit the ball repeatedly over the net. There are many variations of volleyball, including beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, and even wheelchair volleyball.
Dart is a fun game suitable for all age groups. Each dartboard is the same and numbered from 1-20 in a non-sequential order. Throw your darts onto a different part of the board, counting your points as you throw with different rings corresponding to different points. Trampolining is also an indoor sport to play at home. It works out the whole body with all the twists and turns. It improves balance and coordination.
