Jerry Seinfeld Reveals “Seinfeld Reboot” Details
Rumors began swirling years ago about a possible Seinfeld reunion. The finale episode of the iconic sitcom received mixed reviews when it originally aired in 1998, and since then, fans have hoped Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld would one day reunite to bring back everybody’s favorite characters who seemingly do, well, nothing.
A reunion episode was also the subject of Larry David’s equally popular Curb Your Enthusiasm. In season 7, episode 10 of the series, David rounds up the Seinfeld cast in a last-ditch effort to win back his ex-wife on the show, Cheryl Hines. In the Curb Your Enthusiasm reunion, the characters have stayed the same, but the world got a major upgrade since we last saw Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer, among others.
There are also several social media accounts that examine what Seinfeld would be like if the show were on the air today. Would Kramer own an iPhone? Would Elaine be active in the #MeToo movement? Would Jerry still be a comedian?
Well, Jerry appeared on Ellen recently and dropped some major hints about what the future may or may not hold. Think we’re looking at a new 90s reboot?
