Oreos Has Some New Exciting Flavors on the Way
Move over, jelly beans! Oreo just made cookies and creme eggs just in time for Easter. Oreo has come out with a new offering: the new Cookies & Creme Eggs that apply the Nabisco/Mondelez cookie’s signature tastes in a new, consolidated, and Easter-friendly format. Oreo did come out with chocolate-shelled eggs filled with creme and cookie pieces in the recent past, but this is entirely different. You see, the whole thing is made up of a solid cookie and creme combo, giving you something a bit more solid to sink your teeth into this time around.
Given that creme is the dominant color here, these also happen to look more like an actual bird egg than the usual chocolate egg that ends up in an Easter basket. These Oreo Cookie & Creme Eggs have been spotted at Target, where they retail for $3.59 per 10-ounce bag. As a limited-edition offering, they probably won’t be around long after April 4, so be sure to stock up if the idea of an ovoid-shaped Oreo experience speaks to you, because this will be one treat you won’t want to miss.
Not only that, but the NBA has partnered with Oreos and that means we’re getting team logo cookies! Gameday just got even sweeter. Get ready to chow down on limited-edition NBA Dynasty Oreo Cookies stamped with the logos of six of the league’s most prolific teams. Just look for the packs with the golden Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy on the front.
Set to arrive at retailers nationwide later this month, packs of NBA Dynasty OREO Cookies will have “six unique embossments” on the outside of the chocolate cookie sandwiches featuring the logos of “the greatest dynasties in NBA history.” Yes, here’s where you might be disappointed depending on your allegiances: The chosen teams are the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and San Antonio Spurs. (I’m sure social media will be very excited you hear any complaints you have, Pistons fans!)
