May 02, 2022 ByAndrew Parker

Summers are incomplete without a trip to the beach. If you are planning to visit some of the best beaches in the world, during the upcoming summers, your pick should be New Zealand. The country is filled with breathtaking beaches! Each is more awesome than the last. This can, however, make it hard to decide which beaches to visit. But this article has that sorted for you!

Piha Beach, Auckland

Piha is a popular beach in the country, owing to its close proximity to the city. The beach is surrounded by cliffs making it a beautiful location. The beach is primarily known for its surfing spots but there are reserved areas to swim as well! Hence, Piha Beach is an excellent choice if you are looking to surf. You can also take surfing lessons on the beach since there are always plenty of teachers available on the coast who are willing to teach. Be cautious, however, that there are very strong currents near the beach, all year long. All you need to do is to ensure that you do not cross the reserved area while swimming. It is quite safe swimming in the reserved area because it is always being patrolled.

Hot Water Beach, Coromandel

Hot Water Beach is a must-visit beach in New Zealand. It is one of the most unique beaches around the world, due to the thermal water bubbling just beneath the surface of the sand. This makes it a very popular spot and the beach is crowded with visitors during the summers. This should not put you off since you do not want to miss a trip to Hot Water Beach! Like most of these people, dig a small pool on the shore to enjoy the natural hot water that emerges from underneath. If you are looking to surf, this beach is not the one because its stretch is hazardous, with dangerous rips across the area.
