
Road Trip Snack Ideas
Snacks are important in part of a long-distance road trip. There are homemade and healthy snacks that you can take with you for road trips. Here are a few road snacks you can take along. The first on the list is caramel popcorn. Place your popped popcorn in a paper bag, and stir the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla extract together. Heat in the microwave and add baking soda while stirring. Pour syrup over the popcorn and seal the bag. Shake the bag so the syrup can coat well with the popcorn. Place the paper bag in the microwave and cook for 1 minute. Transfer the popcorn into a bowl to cool.
Next on the list is chocolate chip cookies. To prepare this, preheat your oven first. Blend rolled oats until it turns into a smooth powder. Mix oats with the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, and in another bowl, mix cream, butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice. Stir in eggs one at a time until smooth. Mix the two bowls and blend well. Add in chocolate chip and mix by hand. Bake in preheated oven until it shows golden brown color. Serve when cool.
Another road trip snack is apple chips. Preheat the air fryer, slice apple into thin even slices, place in a bowl, add cinnamon and salt and coat the apples. Arrange the apples into the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes. Transfer apples into a wire rack to cool and crisp up.

Next on the list is Banana muffins. Mix egg, vanilla, mashed banana, sugar, and oil in a large bowl. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray. Fill each tin and top with cinnamon. Bake for 20 minutes and check if it is done by doing the toothpick test. Last on this list is the Peanut butter banana smoothie. Place the banana, milk, peanut butter, honey, and ice cube in a blender and blend until it is smooth.
