Shia LaBeouf Will Be Playing Someone Else In A Movie About Himself
If you’ve been keeping up with the latest updates about Shia LaBeouf, then you may have heard the exciting news. He’s coming out with a new movie, and it’s about himself.
The movie is called Honey Boy, which was Shia’s nickname as a child. The film is a drama about Shia’s childhood and growing up with a troubled father, who was an alcohol abuser and criminal.
The real catch here though, is that he won’t be playing himself. Lucas Hedges will be playing Shia, and Shia won’t be playing Shia. He will be playing his father instead of himself. Very interesting.
LaBoeuf has recently played in Borg vs McEnroe, set to come out in April, and Hedges most recent work is Lady Bird and Manchester by the Sea.
Honey Boy is yet to have a release date set, but were all anxiously awaiting to see what Shia’s got in store for us, in both the role he will be playing, and how he will be depicted by Hedges.
