The Best Food To Eat In The Morning For A Full Day Of Energy

Oct 28, 2019 ByAndrew Parker

There are many benefits to eating a good meal in the morning before you head out to start your day. If you start with a nutritious, healthy meal, you’ll have more energy throughout the day (and sleep better at night), you’ll stay fuller longer (so you won’t have the urge to binge on any unhealthy snacks during the day), and it’s a great way to start your day on a positive and productive note. Here are some of the healthiest (and most delicious) foods you can eat in the morning to feel all the positive effects.

Eggs

Eggs are a morning healthy and delicious morning staple, but they are offend paired with some (very) unhealthy options. Eating eggs in any form, whether scrambled, in an omelet, sunny side up, hard-boiled, egg whites, etc., will give you a boost of antioxidants, keep you feeling fuller longer, give you a ton of needed protein, and help maintain steady blood sugar.

Greek Yogurt

Not only is Greek yogurt delicious and nourishing, it also has a ton of nutrients, protein, and probiotics, which can help aide in digestion and intestinal health. It’s particularly refreshing when paired with fresh fruit, which can also provide an additional boost of fiber.

Coffee

Coffee contains caffeine, which is known to be highly addictive. However, this is still a healthy drink to give you a burst of energy in the morning, as long as you aren’t too generous with the creams and sugars. In addition to some fast-acting energy, coffee also contains lots of antioxidants to keep you feeling fresh and healthy throughout your day, when consumed in moderation.

Oatmeal

A breakfast classic that is as warm and delicious as it is nutritious. Oatmeal is made from oats (get it?), making it incredibly high in fiber, and high amounts of fiber are known to aid in digestion and overall wellness. It’s also a great option before a long day, as it leaves you feeling fuller for longer. You can make a bowl of oatmeal a very healthy meal by pairing it with some milk, cheese, and/or fresh fruit.

Chia Seeds

Known for being an incredibly nutritious source of fiber, chia seeds are a very simple way to upgrade any breakfast. You can add chia seeds to almost any food including yogurt, cereals, smoothies and shakes, salads, and lots more.
