The Incredible Quadzilla
32 year old cyclist, Robert Förstemann has completely broken the internet with his thighs. During the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, a photo of them next to one of his fellow cyclists, Andre Greipel made the other guy’s quads look pretty average, despite the fact that they are incredibly muscular compared to the average joe.
Ever since then, he’s been named ‘Quadzilla’ and has become an icon for his massive quads. It’s say to safe that he’s even more recognized for his thighs than he is for his athletic achievements. That’s just the way the world works, Olympic athlete or not.
Even if you’re not the biggest fan of cycling, his quads are just much too big to ignore. When his quads went viral back in 2012, they were measured and showed to be an impressive 28 inches in diameter.
His quads were put to a test in 2015, as he was asked to pedal in order to create enough electricity to power a bread toaster of 700W. And he managed to pass the test, and toast a slice of bread before falling to the ground from exhaustion.
As you can probably assume, he spends a great deal of time in the gym to keep his legendary quads in the best shape possible and competes at the highest level.
