The Most Gorgeous Lattes You'll Ever Lay Your Eyes On

Dec 06, 2019 ByLaura Lee

Any cafe worth their Americano knows they have to step up their coffee game if they want to keep up with the times. Whether you’re aware of it or not, we’re basically living in the age of pretty, colorful, and wildly creative hot drinks that are perfectly Instagram-worthy. It can be rather confusing though and overwhelming to know which and how to choose. Some drinks offer detoxifying properties while others are filled with antioxidants. Here’s everything you’ll need to know.

Green Matcha Lattes

Matcha is the purest form of green tea. It’s powdered green tea whisked into water, creating a bright green rich tea. It’s mixed with milk to make a latte and is stunning for Instagram pictures. Matcha is heavily caffeinated, making it not only brighten your day but also wake you up.

Blue Matcha Lattes

Blue Matcha lattes will without a doubt have a big break on Instagram this year.  Just look at it. It’s already cleansed our soul and detoxed all of our toxic relationships.  And most importantly, it’s delicious. It’s got a mild, floral flavor and is caffeine-free.

Turmeric Lattes

Turmeric is full of health benefits, let alone the fact that its golden color makes for a gorgeous hot drink. Turmeric can be rather bitter on its own, but mixed together with some frothy milk it’s totally aromatic and earthy.

Charcoal Lattes

Thanks to its detoxifying effects, with many claiming it can help with digestion, boost metabolism, and can cure hangovers, we’re all totally obsessed with charcoal lattes. These claims are not yet backed up by science, but there’s no harm that can be done (in small amounts)

Pink Lattes

Pink matcha’s made its first appearance last year after Starbucks released a trendy line of pink drinks. Everything is always more desirable when light pink.  In some cases, it’s made from rose blossoms, while others are made from a bright-hued beetroot.
