Unlike most recipes for desserts, which require preparation and a long shopping list, this banana bread recipe requires only 5 ingredients, most of which you probably already have in your kitchen. This one-bowl recipe is completely dairy-free, nut-free (if you want it to be), and requires no butter. If you have overly ripe bananas sitting around and you are thinking of tossing them, use them in your banana bread instead! They will only make your banana bread more moist, soft, and sweet. - 3 large ripe bananas
- 2 cups of oat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Chocolate chips
- In a large bowl, mash up the bananas with a fork until there are no large pieces left
- Mix the plant milk, oat flour, brown sugar, and baking powder in with the bananas. If your mixture comes out lumpy that’s ok, it’s all part of the plan!
- Pour the mixture into a tin with baking paper and place it in a preheated oven. Then bake it for about 50-60 minutes.
