Disney is always known for its incredible movies, and this upcoming year is no exception, and Disney has an exciting lineup of new releases that have us counting down the days until they come out. Whether you are a fan of action, comedy, or animated films, there is something for everyone coming soon. Here are some upcoming 2023 movies from Disney. The 1989 Oscar-winning Disney film follows Ariel (Halle Bailey) and her quest for something more than aquatic life as she meets and falls in love with a man, Eric (Jonah Hauer-King). The Little Mermaid stars Bailey, Awkwafina, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy. The movie will include original and new songs from Alan Menken and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The third Ant-Man film, directed by Peyton Reed, is scheduled for release this year and will be the next installment in the Marvel films and series. After Avengers: Endgame, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) saved the world. He likes to remind his family of his role in defeating Thanos, and through it, he landed a book deal. His life goes smoothly until Scott’s daughter Cassie (Katherine Newton) accidentally sends Scott, Hope (Evangeline Lily), and her parents Hank (Michael Douglas) and Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) into the Quantum Realm. (Jonathan Majors),where they encountered a dangerous king first introduced in Loki. Bill Murray also appears in the sequel.

Pixar’s next film is The Original Elemental, scheduled for release on June 16, 2023. Elemental already has all the hallmarks of Pixar’s classic Heartwarmer, despite an extended trailer not yet available. The film is about a modern city full of elements learning to coexist in neighboring settlements, creatures made entirely of fire, water, earth, or air, respectively. However, the focus will be on the water element, played by Mamoudou Athie, and the fire element, voiced by Leah Lewis.
