Wedding Gifts Ideas
Wedding gifts should be thoughtful, and there is no need to pressure yourself into buying an expensive wedding gift. Instead, here are a few budget-friendly options for DIY wedding gifts.
DIY Personalized Tray. You can turn a tray into a personalized and chic wedding gift. To make this, you will need to cut out part of the vinyl to spell the couple’s name; you can also cut out the wedding date. Transfer the letters to the tray easily by using transfer tape. Peel away the paper, line up the letters and press the adhesive. Gift baskets are always a nice touch. Make a basket by wrapping a piece of twine around a wooden dowel and tying it off with a knot. Place a bunch of dried flowers inside and fill it with treats. Tie a bow around the top and attach a tag with the couple’s name.
A wedding favor box is a great way to give the couple something special to take home after their big day. You can make these boxes yourself using items around the house. Start by cutting out two pieces of cardboard that are about 2 inches larger than the size of the container you want to use. Then cut out a piece of any fabric at least 1/2 inch bigger than the inside dimensions of the container. Next, cut out a piece of ribbon that is long enough to wrap around the outside edge of the box twice. Fold the edges of the fabric over the sides, and box, then fold the ends of the ribbon under the folded-over edges. Use tape to secure the folds in place.
Tassel wall hanging is also a perfect wedding gift for couples. All you need is a wood rod and round wood beads. Then grab your craft, sewing supplies, and glue gun to join the threads together. It can be in black or mix it with a different color. Lastly, painted dishes. Get a white tea or coffee cup and paint them. Then, wrap it in a bow and present it to the couple.
